Snaffle Colt sketch

This little 5 x 7 sketch is of a pretty sorrel colt carrying a Campbell snaffle. I used three colors of Conte pencil and really enjoyed the process. It was fun to just be a little loose and get back to drawing! I hope you enjoy!

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” ??Psalms? ?143?:?8? ?

I posted this little drawing on Easter Sunday. I was looking for a scripture and this one seemed just right. Aren’t we still lucky he chose to die So that we could look forward to the morning and his unfailing love.
