“Mr TLC Rockstar” is a portrait of an incredible ranch gelding. “Mucho” was raised by Thompson Land and Cattle and purchased by Mark Voss from Ron Redford as a six year old. Mr Voss was managing Swenson Land and Cattle Flat Top Division when he won Top Horse at the Texas Ranch Roundup in 2019. He went on to win Top Horse at the Wild Prairie Days in 2020 and the Western Heritage Classic in 2021. Besides being incredibly athletic and cowy, in an interview with Western Horseman, Mr Voss said that “ he wants to help you” and that “he wants to do his job”. Those are sought after attributes in ranch work and they can’t be taught. They are born with it and along with a good start, training and lots of long days of ranch work you end up with a real “Top Horse”!
